Hi,

I realise I must be particularly 'thick' but can anyone explain how I implement iFlatPatternExport to run within Inventor 2009. I extracted the rar into a new folder within the Inventor programme bin but when I run Inventor no export option appears to be available.

Help please?

Thank you.

I don’t know If I said it already but …I’m so glad I found this site…Keep up the good work I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say GREAT blog. Thanks!

The picture below shows a flat pattern as viewed with the Z axis pointed towards you. This is the geometry you would expect in the output DXF or DWG file.

Would be nice to change the line colours as well as the layer names.

A very useful tutorial, although I had to learn it the hard way.
